Did you know that certain replacement windows can qualify you for up to a $1500 Federal Tax Credit? A credit is available of up to 30% of the total product cost, up to a maximum credit of $1500. This is a new credit for 2009 and 2010.
All you have to do is:
- Have Smith Roofing and Windows install qualifying windows in your home between now and December 31 2010.
- Save your product receipt and performance label with your tax documents.
- Review (or have your tax preparer or accountant review) and make sure you meet all other requirements in the federal tax code.
- Claim the tax credit when you file your Federal taxes for 2009 and/or 2010.
